If there is a network issue, subscribers expect proactive and transparent communications. Historically, BSPs learned of an issue when a customer called to report it. For instance, the operations team is concerned with identifying and resolving the issue’s root cause. In contrast, the customer support team needs to understand which subscribers are affected and how long the problem will take to fix so they can communicate it with customers.
